Goal: eight screens from the 1985 Datasoft game. You steer one Goonie at a time (Fire swaps). Each screen is a puzzle the two must solve together: one holds a lever, stands on a switch or pushes a crate while the other crosses. Get both to the exit to reach the next screen; after the eighth comes the ending.

Controls (player 1): arrows or WASD move, Up jumps or climbs, Space or Ctrl fires. Fire switches between the two Goonies; on the title it starts a game. C64 keys: F7 new game, F3 one/two players (title), P or Esc pause, M music on/off, L left-hand stick (Shift+L for player 2), V version.

Two players: press F3 on the title. Player 1 uses the arrows + Space/Ctrl (or gamepad 1), player 2 uses WASD (or gamepad 2).

Your own disk: this page contains no game. It runs the copy you drop in (The Goonies, Datasoft 1985, C64 .d64), checks it and plays it entirely in your browser; the file is never uploaded.
